Find out whether your computer graphics card and your monitor can handle these settings! If you do not know, check with your computer manufactuer first!
Windows 2000, XP & Vista Display Setting Changes.
Right click in the open space on your desktop, then left click on Properties. In the display menu, click on the settings tab.
Change the Color Quality to AT LEAST 16 Bit and the Screen Area to AT LEAST 1024x768.
